Why You Should Attend The Art of Leadership

It’s important for people to attend events like this because they see that others are also looking for this kind of inspiration and knowledge. We feel alone often, I think, in our quest to understand these things – how do we be more present, more powerful, more effective at work, a better leader, less fearful – and so that feeling of being alone is a big part of the problem.

I think a lot of it really is for them to meet each other, to see each other, and respond together collectively to what they’re hearing on stage. And also you get a sort of smorgasbord of ideas from important thinkers who are also inspiring people and you choose what to use. You choose what to take away. I think it’s all good stuff, but we need to come to these things understanding that not everything works for every person.
