On September 30th The Art of Leadership sponsored by Microsoft returned to Vancouver at The Centre. This year’s conference featured the following five world-renowned bestselling authors and thought leaders: Rudy Giuliani, Hayley Wickenheiser, Charles Duhugg, Dan Roam and Dr. Vince Molinaro. The conference was well received by all attendees who left with great leadership skills and insights.

Doors opened to the conference at 8:00 AM. Vancouver poured through the doors and waited in anticipation for the opening remarks so the full day of inspiration could begin, entirely hosted by Ron Tite.

The first speaker to take the stage was Dan Roam, Bestselling Author of The Back of The Napkin . Dan sparked creativity in the room and pointed out the simplicity of solving problems through being visual:

Next to take the stage was Dr. Vince Molinaro of Knightsbridge. Vince drew the audience in with his facts on leaders and brought forth actions to change and improve leadership styles. He was well-received by all:

Following Dr. Vince Molinaro was 4x Olympic Canadian Gold Medalist, Hayley Wickenheiser! Hayley immediately received a roaring applause and did nothing but contribute to the inspiration in the room through her Olympic stories and personal life which all drew back on being an effective leader:

Following Hayley was a fantastic lunch break featuring quality networking, cheesecake and LinkedIn headshots!

After Lunch, Bestselling Author of The Power of Habit, Charles Duhigg took the stage to discuss The Power of a Crisis: Teaching Organizational Habits Through Accident & Design. Chalres sparked multiple questions and thoughts regarding habits of all kinds and how you should use them or change them to your advantage:

Last to take the stage was our keynote of The Art of Leadership and former Mayor of New York City, Rudy Giuliani. Rudy spoke through personal experiences of change and crisis to educate the audience on his leadership insights:

Everyone left The Art of Leadership conference in high spirits, fully motivated and inspired to become better leaders. Hayley Wickenheiser even had a few words to say:

Overall the day was a huge success, many thanks to our Title Sponsor, Microsoft and all of our amazing sponsors and partners who contributed to the day’s success. The day would not have been the success it was without all of the incredible minds in the room. See you next time Vancouver!
